Summer Tango Holiday in the South Of France with ADRIAN & AMANDA COSTA +TSL
Booking now open for 2012: 14th-21st &21st-28th July.
The holiday this year went so well, that I have decided to keep it exactly as we did this year. The only difference is that
because the costs of putting on this holiday are going up next year, I am unfortunately forced to put up the prices.
However, I am freezing this years prices and opening booking from now until 8th November ONLY!
(So book asap for savings of up to £30 per person, £60 per couple)
(nb I will not know if single rooms will be available until June 2012, and there will be an extra £50 surcharge if so)
14h-21rst July (Improver to advanced & experience of A&A classes or similar Tango de Salon. All levels will benefit from the precision and depth of teaching.
21st-28th July (Intermediate/advanced, & experience of A&A classes or similar Tango de Salon experience)

There is room for 30 students on each course.
There are mostly double rooms either with 2 single beds or a double.
According to first come first serve, I will ensure even numbers of leaders & followers.

The Chateau
-There are 5 double rooms (available for week 1, all booked for week 2) in the chateau:these are palatial, en suite, delightful rooms. The price is 690pounds (£720)per person for 7 days. (20 pounds off per couple/£10 per person for 2 weeks).
- There are 2 single bedrooms on the ground floor of the chateau (which we are turning into bedrooms as they are usually reception rooms), but smaller and not en suite. There are two toilets on the ground floor, but you will need to use the bathroom facilities in the Gite part of the Chateau. The price is 500 (£520) pounds.
-There is also a lovely smaller double room with ensuite (booked for week 2) (& private access to turret!) 600 (£630) pounds
The Chateau Gite
Next to the chateau is the lovely gite building, where the main dance floor is.
There are 6 rooms:
bedroom a=a double ensuite bedroom
b= double ensuite bedroom
c= double bedroom (sharing bathroom with d)
bedroom d=a twin or triplet (sharing bathroom with c)
bedroom e= single (sharing bathroom with f)
bedroom f= single (sharing bathroom with e)
Prices are 550 (£580)per person
Les Remparts
7 double bedrooms, all gorgeous views, stunning décor & luxury ensuites
£ 620 (£650) per couple
£500 One single room sharing bathroom

Dinner:
Last years visits of different local restaurants was a big success! (...Watch out for dancing on the terrace of one of the resto's with magnificent views if the weather is fine!) You can choose this option once you arrive. There will also be a festival night in a local village for the first week. You are welcome to self cater in the evening: Les Remparts, the chateau and gite all have separate kitchens & barbeques.

About Château de Soules
On the edge of the Ariege, just south of the town of Lezat, in the parish of St Ybars, you will find Château de Soules. Built around the middle of the 19th century for the Baronne de Nomazy and given the Occitan name 'Soules' meaning 'Sun' the château is situated away from the main road south to the Pyrenean mountains, surrounded by it's own woods and parkland - in complete privacy. Beside the Château is a large shaded terrace area with chairs and tables for dining outdoors and a brick-built barbecue. There is a swimming pool, sun terrace, an all weather tennis court (built in 2005 to professional standards), games room with table tennis, table football and raquets for badminton, and several bicycles are also available for your use.

About Les Remparts: Due to the huge interest in bookings, I am delighted to include an extra accomodation option.Les Remparts, one of our wonderful venues of last year, is now available again this year (http://www.urobech.com/,).It has luxury facilities including all bedrooms with delightful ensuits, heated swimming pool etc. The students last year loved it!
However, The Chateau is a 5 minute drive down the hill, or a 30-40 minute walk. A minibus will be available to transport people to the classes and practica's, but it would obvoiusly mean much more freedom if you have the use of a car.
Teachers: About Adrian & Amanda Costa During recent years, Adrian and Amanda have become one of the most influential and admired performers and teachers of the Authentic Salon Tango, in the Villa Urquiza style. Their experitise comes from an illustrious lineage of masters: El Turco Jose, Portalea, who are their maestros. Adrian and Amanda successfully combine the true heritage and fundamentals of social tango with their more modern vision. Mutual respect for everyone sharing the dance floor, integrating emotion and interpretation of the music, and a natural elegance rooted in posture and beautiful walking are hallmarks of their vision.
Students from last year’s TSL holiday were bowled over by the quality of their teaching. So back by popular demand, Adrian and Amanda have agreed to teach for 2 weeks this time!

Food
Included: Breakfast (fruit , cereal, and pastries &drinks)
Lunch (fresh salads, local lovely cheeses &pates, wine & beer etc)
We will be eating on the beautiful terrace in front of the chateau.
Dinner will be provided by the wonderful local restaurant. You can choose to opt in or out of this (self catering available).
Dance Floor
The chateau's Gite has a large room with a wooden floor! This will be used for classes, practicas and evening milongas. There are also other rooms available for private lessons/practice, and a tiled open air terrace for those sultry nights!
Local sites
There are some wonderful local medieval towns and villages:
Saint Lizier, Foix with it's ancient castle and fantastic re-enactment of the storming of the bastide plus life through the ages, Camon and Mazeres.
There are some incredible fortresses in the Ariege too, Montsegur ( quite a climb but worth the effort), Carcassonne ( a whole village surrounded by a huge moat with original draw-bridges, narrow cobbled streets, a real fairytale land, and the ruins of Roquefixade.
Pre-historic Caves
Pre-historic Caves or 'grottes' include; Niaux with it's fascinating 13 thousand year old cave drawings, Mas D'Azil, and Labouiche which incorporates an underground river trip.
And all the other delights such as local markets, festivals etc.
